I can relate to the twi part – whenever I am in the mist of Ghanaians which I often am as my hubby is a Ghanaian, I am always spoken to in Twi, this is how Ghanaians love their language and culture. I love the fact that they teach their culture to their kids at a very young age especially for kids born outside of Ghana. I am amazed when I see young kids born here in the UK speak twi fluently, when I couldn’t speak my maternal language at that age.
